Patrizio Montali
“Doing things at the top of my capabilities, putting myself out there, is the philosophy of life that has guided me through all my choices.”
After a long career as a manager in important Italian companies, today I dedicate myself to a new and exciting life project: living in contact with Nature and producing wine.
In doing so, I draw on the collaboration of experts from various fields, from agronomy to oenology, from digital communication to web design, with a challenge: to bring together various cultures and experiences with the aim of creating a new product, where local traditions and technical discontinuity meet, without following current trends.
I strongly believe in hybridization
In this respect, I humbly stand by an attitude of discovery, of openness to the new and to what may come over the years in terms of technological advancements. All of this while having the same loophole: to do things at the best of my capabilities.
This philosophy, combined with a deep respect for nature and the environment, is reflected in precise decisions: the best skills and the best production materials to achieve, with no compromise, the most attainable quality.
I started this project with Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo in an ideal territory where the sea breeze meets the mountains, with the aim of making a new product by extracting the most intimate characteristics of this wine, in a country where rosé is sadly still not given the status it deserves (unlike France where rosé holds a position of equivalency with the great reds and whites).
